Climate and Decarbonization

We understand that climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time. That is why we have committed to responsibly leading the transition toward a low-carbon energy model, integrating innovative solutions that significantly reduce our environmental impact.

Our approach to decarbonization is based on three fundamental pillars:

1. Emissions Reduction
We implement technologies and operational practices that optimize resource use, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and improve energy efficiency across all our operations.
2. Renewable Energy
We are committed to energy diversification, incorporating clean energy projects such as photovoltaic systems, which allows us to meet our energy needs sustainably.
66,206.34 Solar energy generated 153.59 tons of CO₂ Emissions avoided
3. Circular Economy
We promote the reuse of materials and responsible waste management, turning waste into valuable resources and contributing to environmental care.
4,163 kg Collected solid waste 11.5 tons of CO₂ Equivalent emissions avoided
We not only work to meet international sustainability standards, but we strive to be a model of climate action within the energy sector. We know that every effort counts, and we are determined to be part of the solution to mitigate the effects of climate change and build a cleaner, more resilient future.
Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are classified into three scopes according to the

Decarbonization of Oil and Gas

Methane emissions along the oil and gas production chain receive considerable attention in the international climate debate, given their significant impact on climate change and the technical and economic feasibility of reducing emissions in the short to medium term. The main sources of methane emissions are unintentional releases to the atmosphere (i.e., fugitive emissions) from the unburned fraction in combustion systems, as well as from flaring and venting.

We are committed to progressively reducing emissions from our operations by cutting methane emissions and routine or process flaring and venting, and by investing in energy efficiency.
